Joe Roberts, "the Skidrow CEO". It was a great opportunity to socialize and network with fellow Chamber Members and community
faces. Dinner was tasty with a presentation by Joe Roberts after. Joe was a homeless drug addict on the streets of West Hastings and
he is now the CEO of his own company. He had a powerful message of survival, recovery and success that was delivered in a charming
and semi-informal style. There was silence in the audience during the entire presentation and a Q&A followed. He gave advise on how
to educate youth on the misconceptions of drug use and had books and literature to offer as well to support his message. For more
